Wednesday, June 16th, 2010How to make an old 122 camera accept 120 film
Wednesday, June 16th, 20101. Buy old wooden 122 film spool on eBay. Hope you didn’t get ripped off.
2. Cut from both ends about 15mm. (122 spools are about 95-96mm; 120 spools are 65mm long).
3. Drill 3/16″ diameter holes on the wood end of each cut spool piece.
4. Cut 2 1/2″ pieces of 3/16″ dowel and glue in drilled holes.
5. Load 120 film roll onto the two modified 122 spool ends.
6. Put into bigass Kodak No. 3A Autographic camera to shoot bigass 6x14cm negatives (after masking film plane with brass sheets).
