I’m assuming the plural of Anpanman is Anpanmen. If you don’t know Anpanman you’ve never been near Japan. Enlighten yourself here.

The “Very Very” (as in very very slimy), one of many venues that cater to male sexual appetite in Kabuki-cho in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Walk around there long enough (if male) and a guy commissioned to find customers will engage you in a conversation like the one I had today:

What is hard to read here is the subtitle: “Adam’s Apple of Ueno” (and something else I forgot). This is a sign for a boutique selling hip urban streetwear (not freaks).

I love Japanese potato chips in all their crazy variety. All week Alan and I have been taste-testing different ones. He bought these Doritos for this whacked-out image.
