Ready on Day One?
Looks like the Barracuda, the Pit Bull With Lipstick, has turned chicken–the McCain campaign tells us now that she’s “not ready” to face the media. Huh? This is someone who was grandstanding on the networks Wednesday night, who was talking tough about being tough, taunting the media, telling it to watch-out-cuz-here-I-come!. Gosh, for someone who bragged about taking on the entire corrupt Alaska political establishment singlehandedly, it sure seems odd that she would cower from the media spotlight now, not ready and not comfortable to answer a few wee questions. Of course their campaign is spinning this blackout policy: she needs to spend time with the voters now. Bawk, bawk, bawk…
